Shaun Sloan was featured by 1800 Seconds, an artist discovery platform, at the end of 2019 with his song Hot Boy. In addition to working with Papamitrou (Nick Papz,) a valued producer of Meek Mill's Dreamchasers Records, he also had help from Future to bring together this single for the project.
In the chorus of the song, Shaun raps:
Shaun is a rapper with sickle cell disease and raps about working through it to become stronger and provide for his son.
